  CHARITY BIKE 'N' BLADE 2007 (7-9 September 2007)

Charity Bike ‘n’ Blade is back for the third year running. Unlike previous years, Avanade will be the main organizer of this year’s Charity Bike ‘n’ Blade, where we will adopt the cause of “Youth at Risk”. Essentially, this section of the community includes youths in need between the ages of 12 and 21 years old, who are at risk of drugs, delinquency, crime and abuse. There will be 3 beneficiary organizations, namely, The Salvation Army Youth – global volunteer welfare organization that runs a residential home for abandoned, abused and neglected children, Pertapis Centre for Women and Girls – a welfare home for abused women and girls, and Ling Kwang Youth Centre – a social service centre in the heartlands serving children from needy or broken homes. We are targeting to raise S$500,000 for these beneficiary organizations through this event.
